Bhubaneswar: In an apparent change of heart, a thief in Odisha capital returned some certificates that were in a bag he had stolen. According to sources, a thief had stolen a bag in Sailashri Vihar area in Bhubaneswar on October 18. The CCTV camera recorded the theft but the thief’s identity could not be ascertained.
He tracked the owner of the bag through the Aadhar card in the bag, got the mobile phone number and called the owner. Then he returned the certificates through a bus driver but not the mobile phone and laptop.
Investigation into the matter is on.
