Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) will start the third round of sero survey in the city with technical support from RMRC from October 16 to 18.
According to BMC, five teams will randomly collect samples and data from 1500 people of 25 wards across the city.
Seroprevalence in Bhubaneswar was found to be 1.4 per cent during the first-phase survey in July. The second-phase sero survey found 5 per cent of the community to have developed antibodies.
BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary said the civic body will also start cycle-related enforcement activities. “When we launched the Cyclegiri last Friday, it was decided that we will do some kind of enforcement related to cycle stand and tracks, where these have been encroached,” he said.
