This Odisha-Born Big Boss 13 Contestant Shared Her ‘Molestation’ Story On Weekend Ka Vaar

During this Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 13, television actor Madhurima Tuli shared her traumatic experience of being molested by her home tutor when she was child. It was part of a task on the show.

“He would send my brother away on the pretext of getting tea and touch me inappropriately. I told my mother about it and she informed my father,” she said.

Tuli said that she was lucky that her parents supported her. through this ordeal. The incident affected me a lot. I started lagging behind in studies. Then, we shifted to Dehradun and everything changed,” she added.

She was born in Odisha, where her father, who works with Tata Steel, was posted.

Tuli made her foray into films with ‘Saththaa’  down South. She then moved to Mumbai and worked as a model for brands like Godrej, Fiama Di Wills and Karbonn Mobiles.

Known for her role as Chandrakanta in the serial Chandrakanta on Colors TV, she played the wife of Akshay Kumar in the 2015 action film Baby. She was also seen in Hamari Adhuri Kahani and Naam Shabana.

In television, she played the antagonist in Kumkum Bhagya and was last seen as Sanjana in the horror/thriller television series Qayamat Ki Raat on Star Plus.
