Berhampur: Ganjam Collector Vijay Amrit Kulange has asked the officers to ensure that there are no child labourers in the district.
“We must verify the Aadhaar cards of the labourers engaged at different places and see to it that there is none under the age of 14 years,” he said while chairing a meeting through video conferencing at Chhatrapur on Monday.
He also advised the labour officers to see that COVID regulations were strictly implemented at these sites.
Collector also asked the Block Development Officers (BDO) to manage all the developmental schemes of various departments through committees.
COVID-19 management, the second part of the Swachh Bharat Mission, Mo Ward, cleaning and sanitation in Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya and other schools and distribution of dresses among the kids of the Anganwadi centres, among other, were discussed, sources said.
