Mumbai: Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan have received a scary death threat.
An unsigned letter, addressed to the Bollywood superstar and veteran screenplay writer, was found at Mumbai’s Bandra Bandstand promenade.
The message read — “tumhara Moosewala kar denge (you will meet Moose Wala’s fate)”.
Police have registered an FIR after the letter was spotted by Salim Khan’s guards at a place where the 86-year-old veteran usually sits after his morning walk.
Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead last week in Punjab’s Mansa, allegedly by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The same gang had threatened Salman in 2018 when the blackbuck poaching case was being heard in court and threatened to kill the actor in Jodhpur.
Lawrence, who was lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail after being charged under the Arms Act, was sent to police custody after the murder of Moosewala.
Following the latest threat, Mumbai police will tighten security around Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where Salman and his family stay.
