Bhadrak: A doctor’s profession is considered the noblest but the doctor also needs to earn his bread and butter to survive.
According to media reports, three young doctors at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Chandbali in Bhadrak district of Odisha had to give up their jobs as they were neither getting their salary nor any accommodation.
The discontented doctors approached the District Magistrate and CDMO seeking help. But when the authorities turned a deaf ear to them, the helpless doctors had no other option but to resign from their posts.
However, the Medical Officer (I/C), CHC Chandbali has stated that the three doctors have been relieved from their duty for gross negligence in government duty, misconduct, irregularities in duty and unauthorised absence from HQ. The doctors have now been posted at the District Head Quarter Hospital, Bhadrak, he said.
