New Delhi: Bhubaneswar-based Siksha O Anusandhan University has been ranked among the top 50 institutes in India in the ‘2019 India Ranking’ conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The varsity has secured 41st position.
The newly established Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar was placed at the 46th position and Kalinga Institute of Industrial (KIIT) was ranking at the 50th place.
The annual ranking list was released by President Ram Nath Kovind.
IIT Madras was adjudged as the best institute followed by Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru. IIT Delhi ranked third in the overall ranking list.
In the engineering category, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela was placed at an impressive 16th place, followed by IIT Bhubaneswar at the 17th place.
