Ghaziabad: In a heartrending incident, three minor sisters in Ghaziabad tragically ended their lives by jumping from the ninth floor of their apartment after their parents objected to their online gaming addiction. The event unfolded early Wednesday at Bharat City Society, shaking the Tila Morh community.
Reports said the victims — Pakhi (12), Prachi (14), and Vishika (16) — were inseparable, sharing meals, baths, school, and sleep. They were addicted to a Korean task-based “love game” since the COVID-19 pandemic, they skipped classes regularly despite family pleas. Around 2 AM, after a parental scolding over mobiles, the sisters held hands and jumped from Flat 907, Tower B1 balcony.
Father Chetan Kumar, an online trader originally from Delhi, and his wife slept in another room unaware. Meanwhile, the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the mobiles seized for forensic probe to check game chats or external pressures.
