Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued thunderstorm warning for 11 places of Odisha, including the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
The latest doppler weather radar and satellite imageries indicate that moderate thunderstorm with gusty wind and lightning with light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Khurda, including Bhubaneswar, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, including Cuttack, and Nayagarh.
The weatherman said that this condition is likely to prevail at these places between 9.15 am and 1.15 pm.
