Bhubaneswar: The regional meteorological centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued thunderstorm alert for four districts of Odisha on Tuesday morning.
The alert has been sounded for Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Bhadrak districts till 11.45 am.
The latest Doppler weather radar and images indicate that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and intense spells of rain likely to occur at these places, a Met bulletin said.
People in these districts have been advised to stay indoors or shift to safe locations, if such weather conditions prevail.
