Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued thunderstorm alert for nine districts of Odisha from 5 pm to 8 pm on Sunday.
According to the latest Met bulletin, moderate thunderstorm, lightning with light rainfall are likely to occur at one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Malkangiri, Koraput, Gajapati, Rayagada, Nuapada and Balangir districts.
