TI Parade Conducted In Bhubaneswar Bizman Son’s Abduction Case

Bhubaneswar: Ishan Agarwal, the son of businessman who was abducted from Laxmisagar area last month, has reportedly identified his kidnappers during test identification (TI) parade at Jharpada jail here. The TI parade was held in the presence of the Magistrate.

Police had arrested four of his abductors, identified as Rama Krishna from Berhampur, Santosh Rout from Sambalpur, Dhaneswar Patra from Nayagarh and Mustaq Ali from Bhubaneswar, all in their 20s.

The accused had abducted Agarwal and later demanded ransom of Rs 30 lakh from his father, a businessman in the city.

The 21-year-old was rescued from Rajsunakhala in Nayagarh district on Wednesday after a dramatic 36 hours chase covering 800 km in Khurda, Puri and Nayagarh. The accused used to call Ishan’s father to tell him about their location and the police traced their calls, leading to the rescue.

A 19-member police team was investigating the kidnap which took place on January 31. The BBA student was abducted in a car without a registration number while having tea at a stall near his apartment at Laxmisagar around 3 pm on Monday.
