Tiger Breeding Recorded In Odisha’s Similipal After Decades
Bhubaneswar: In an excitement news for animal and wildlife lovers, tiger breeding has been recorded in Similipal Sanctuary in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district after a long time, a senior forest department official said on Monday.
The information about tiger breeding was shared by Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), Wildlife, Susanta Nahda in a post on X handle. The report of tiger breeding has been recorded in northern Similipal after a few decades, he said.
Rearing of two melanistic cubs has brought hope and happiness among team Similipal, Nanda said. “T24 rearing two melanistic cubs has brought hope & happiness among team Simlipal. Salutations to their efforts,” he said.
