Berhampur: Ganjam district administration is all geared up for the visit of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to 3 blocks on Sunday.
As per the schedule, the chief minister will go to Kabisurya Nagar, Hinjili and Chhatrapur during his one-day visit to the district. He will inaugurate a number of projects in the three places.
Naveen will distribute checks of financial assistance to the Mission Shakti groups and record of rights (RoR) to the landless beneficiaries.
The district administration has beefed up security for the chief minister at all the places during his visit. About 48 platoons of police will be deployed at his meeting places. The district collector and SP have taken stock of the preparation and security arrangements for the CM’s visit.
Naveen will take off in a helicopter from Bhubaneswar airport at 10.15 am and land at the venue of the public meeting in Kabisuryanagar at 11 am. After laying foundation stones for different projects there, he would move to Hinjili at around 12 noon.
From Hinjili Naveen will fly in the chopper to Chhatrapur where he will attend the public meeting at 3 pm and fly back to Bhubaneswar at 4 pm.
Notably, the chief minister had visited the famous Maa Taratarini Pitha in Ganjam district last year and dedicated the developed facilities there to the people.
