Bhubaneswar: Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), faculty of engineering and technology of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University here, has been ranked third in the country among engineering institutes by Times All India Engineering Institutes Ranking Survey 2023.
As far as Odisha and the eastern region are concerned, ITER is numero uno as per the rankings published on Tuesday.
ITER, established in 1996-97, has also been ranked second among the top 125 private engineering institutes in India. In research capability, ITER was placed fourth in the country, the highest rank for any institute in the eastern region.
A total of 170 engineering institutions from across India were ranked in the survey, which was conducted on various parameters of desk research, factual data collection and perceptual survey.
