Bhandaripokhari: Around 25 passengers were injured, five critically, after a tourist bus overturned at Bhandaripokhari in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Thursday.
According to sources, the accident took place near Chatabar petrol pump along NH 16 around 10 am while the private bus, carrying around 70 passenger, was heading towards Puri from Kolkata .
On getting information, fire services and police personnel rushed to the spot and started a rescue operation. The injured victims were admitted to Bhandaripokhari community health centre. The seriously injured have been referred to Bhadark district headquarters hospital.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.
