Balasore: TPNODL recently hosted a key consumer meet with HT and EHT consumers in Joda, underscoring its dedication to delivering reliable and quality power supply, adopting a consumer-centric approach and strengthening power distribution infrastructures.
Present on the occasion were Gajanan Kale, Chief – Odisha Distribution Business and CEO –
TPNODL; Jaydeep Roy, Chief – Commercial Services and Business Excellence; Nilesh Potphode, Chief – Operation Services; Pradeep Mohanty, Chief – Projects and Civil; Ramendra Banik, Head – HR; Rashmikanta Behera, Superintending Engineer – Keonjhar; and Sujit Kumar Ratha, Executive Engineer – Joda division, along with other senior officials of TPNODL and industry representatives.
During the conference, TPNODL highlighted its initiatives in electricity services, infrastructure strengthening and innovative consumer-centric approaches, including the use of modern technology in power distribution. Industry representatives appreciated the transformation in power distribution and expressed their views on areas of improvement.
They also participated in a panel discussion on industries’ role in supporting India’s green energy aspirations. At the session, M R Rath, Head – Power Systems, TATA Steel, presented on ‘Relevance of Energy Conservation and the Role of Industries’.
Speaking on the occasion, Kale reaffirmed TPNODL’s commitment to delivering reliable and quality power supply, underpinned by its consumer-centric approach and services, unwavering emphasis on safety, solarization and relentless infrastructure strengthening efforts. He expressed gratitude for the trust reposed in TPNODL by its esteemed consumers and assured continued efforts to empower Odisha’s growth in the power utility sector.
Additionally, Kale inaugurated a modern meter management store in Joda, providing high-quality meter-related services to the region. A newly constructed 10 MVA substation was also inaugurated in Barbil, enabling quality power supply to over 3,000 consumers in the area, especially in Barbil town, Thakurani and Belkundi areas
