Bhawanipatna: A person was killed and 15 others injured after the tractor
carrying them overturned near Singari ghati at Kalampur in Kalahandi
district on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Hemanta Majhi, the driver of the tractor.

According to information, the ill-fated vehicle was on its way to
Thuamul Rampur from Dasi village in the district.
In a separate incident, two youths travelling on a motorcycle were
killed after being hit by a trailer near Budaloi in Jharsuguda
district.
They were identified as Ratan Angaria and Ajay Panda.
