Cuttack: Tension ran high at Pithapur under Chauliaganj police limits in Cuttack following the murder of a local businessman by an unidentified miscreant on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Dilip Sahu of Kotha Sahi.
Following the incident, police rushed to the spot for an on-the-spot investigation.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the murder of the deceased is due to the lending of the loan.
The investigation is underway.
