OPCC president Bhakta Charan Das discussing tomorrow's planned gherao with senior leaders at party headquarters
Bhubaneswar: With the Congress planning to gherao the Odisha Assembly on March 27 over the issue of women’s safety, the Commissionerate Police on Wednesday issued a traffic advisory for the convenience of the city denizens.
The advisory said that significant traffic congestion is anticipated from 9 am to 3 pm in and around the city area of Bhubaneswar, particularly on the route from Raj Mahal Square to Rupali Square and vice versa. It advised people to avoid this route and plan their journey accordingly to ensure a smoother commute and to minimise travel disruptions. “Please stay updated with local traffic advisories and co-operate with authorities for safe and hassle-free travel,” it added.
