Bhubaneswar: The extreme left bridge over the Kuakhai will be closed for 60 days for urgent repair works from Tuesday, informed the Twin City Commissionerate Police.
“NHAI/SJEPL has proposed closure of Kuakhai LHS bridge for urgent repair works for a period of 60 days on NH-16 and have requested for diversion of traffic on the base report of inspection and load testing of the said bridge,” the post on its official Twitter handle said.
To ensure the safety of the commuters, all vehicles enroute Cuttack from Bhubaneswar will be diverted towards the middle of Kukhai bridge from March 2 to May 2, it added.
