Bhubaneswar: Traffic restrictions have been imposed by the Commissionerate Police on one stretch of the Janpath in Bhubaneswar in view of the ‘Patha Utsav’ being organised on Sunday – January 4.
As per sources, the street festival is slated to be held on the stretch of the Janpath between Master Canteen Square and Ram Mandir Square on Sunday. A host of dignitaries are expected to attend the event.
As per the traffic advisory issued by the police, no vehicular movement will be allowed on the said stretch of the Janpath and connecting lanes from 11 pm on Saturday to 11 am on Sunday.
Residents of the capital city as well as commuters have been advised to avoid the route and plan their travel in advance to prevent delays.
This apart, people have been advised to stay updated through the official traffic advisories and follow the temporary traffic diversions.
