Khurda: Driver and helper of a truck sustained severe burn injuries after a fire broke out in the vehicle, carrying chemicals, on the bypass road near Tangi in Khurda district late on Thursday.
On being informed, a fire brigade from Tangi rushed to the spot and doused the flames. The Tangi police got the injured driver and the helper admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.

According to police, the truck carrying chemicals from Paradip was on its way to Berhampur when the mishap took place.
