Mumbai: Television actor Nitin Chauhan’s untimely demise at the age of 35 has once again raised questions about the emotionally draining life of actors in the industry.
Nitin, who was last seen in the SAB TV sitcom ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main,’ was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on Thursday, according to a report in India Today.
While the cause of his death is still unknown, fellow-actor Vibhuti Thakur’s condolence post on social media hinted at the turmoil Nitin was going through in his life.
“Rest in peace my dear.. really shocked and sad… wish you had the strength to face all the troubles. Wish you were mentally strong like your body,” wrote Vibhuti, hinting at the possibility of suicide.
Co-actor Sudeep Sahir posted:
Nitin’s father has flown down to Mumbai to claim his body.
Nitin, who hails from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, rose to fame after winning the reality show ‘Dadagiri 2’.
The actor was also seen in MTV’s reality show ‘Splitsvilla 5’, as well as ‘Zindagi Dot Com’, ‘Crime Patrol’, ‘Friends: Conditions Apply,’ ‘Gumrah: End of Innocence,’ ‘Supercops VS Supervillains’ and ‘Savdhaan India.’
