Two BSF Personnel Among 15 New COVID-19 Cases In Odisha’s Koraput

Jeypore: The number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha’s Koraput district rose to 354 on Wednesday with 15 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Among them, eight have been reported from quarantine centre and four from home quarantine while three are contacts of previous positive cases and 15 with travel history within and outside the state.

Two among the infected are BSF personnel, the district administration said.

The positive cases have been reported Koraput Municipality (4), Sunabeda Municipality (1), Koraput block (2), the temporary medical centres at Laxmipur block (5) and Boipariguda (2) and one from Gumuda in Borigumma.

With 217 recoveries, Koraput now has 137 active cases.
