Balasore: Two Champa Naga (cobra) were rescued from Mission field in Balasore city on Tuesday.
Residents spotted a snake near a hotel gate and informed the forest department. Forest officials reached the spot and rescued the cobra and over 50 eggs. The officials rescued another cobra from near a resident’s house in Telenga Sahi area.
The snakes and the eggs will be sent to Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary, the officials said.
