Jeypore: Two CRPF commandos posted in Maoist-hit Koraput district have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to sources, the two infected security personnel are with the 202 CoBRA unit posted at Sunabeda. The duo has been shifted to the Jeypore COVID hospital.
Earlier, six coronavirus positive cases were detected among anti-Maoist security forces posted in Koraput district.
Following this, 192 CoBRA commandos were quarantined at the camp. The swabs of 118 jawans were also sent for tests. The results of two were found to be positive on Thursday.
One of the jawans had come to the district from West Bengal and the other had returned from Cuttack on June 5.
