Keonjhar: Two persons were killed when a motorcycle they were riding was hit by a speeding truck near Palaspanga village under Sadar police limits in Keonjhar district late on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Dillip Dhir and Malaya Basko, both natives of Puruna Bazaar in the district.
According to preliminary investigation, the truck driver lost control over the vehicle while trying to overtake the two-wheeler and hit it. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the accident, a police officer said.
