Bhubaneswar: The State Health and Family Welfare Department on Sunday shared the details of two COVID-19 patients, who died of other reasons.
According to the tweet, a 17-year-old man of Nabarangpur district was under treatment for severe diabetes mellitus. He died due to diabetic ketoacidosis.
The other deceased is a 53-year-old man of Puri district, who was undergoing treatment for cancer of the oesophagus, hepatic artery pseudoaneurysm, and hematemesis.
With this, a total of five persons, who had tested positive for COVID-19, have passed away for reasons other than the virus.
