Bhubaneswar: The district administration, National Aluminium Company (NALCO) and Christian Hospital have signed a tripartite agreement to set up a 200-bed COVID Hospital in Nabarangpur district.
This will the first COVID hospital in the district.
Another hospital with 100 beds for treatment of COVID-19 patients only, will come up in association with Paradip Port Trust (PPT) at Paradip in Jagatsinghpur.
Odisha has already set up 10 such dedicated hospitals with a total bed strength of 1,950 in Khurda, Jajpur, Sundargarh, Cuttack, Kendrapada, Ganjam and Keonjhar districts.
These two facilities will raise the capacity to 2,250 beds.
