Bhubaneswar: Two old women died in a road accident in Bhadrak late Saturday evening.
According to sources, the two women were coming in a rice-laden trolley autorichshaw when the accident took place on Kochila river bank near Arjunpur under Dhamnagar police station.
While one of the victims identified as Hadiani Bewa died in Bhadrak hospital, the second woman, Hemlata Nayak, succumbed on the way to a SCB medical in Cuttack.
The auto-rickshaw was carrying rice from the panchayat office, sources said.
