Bhubaneswar: Amid the rise in COVID-19 cases and Omicron variant of coronavirus, public places are being closed to break the chain of infection in the state.
The government has decided to close two planetariums and a museum for visitors from January 10.
These facilities are Pathani Samanta Planetarium at Bhubaneswar, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Planetarium at Burla and Samanta Museum, Khandapada.
These public places will be out of bounds for the tourists as a precautionary measure against spread of COVID-19.
