Chennai: Two journalists have been murdered in separate incidents in Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh in last 24 hours.
The first incident saw Chennai-based journalist brutally murdered outside his home in Kanchipuram on Sunday. A gang of drug smugglers allegedly hacked the regional news channel journalist to death, according to Times Now News.
The journalist’s family refused to accept his body and demanded justice.
The second incident was witnessed in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh when a journalist was found dead in a jungle. The journalist identified as Syed Adil Wahab was missing for 24 hours. Wahab was working with a local television channel.
The face and the head of the victim were found smashed. Cops believe he may have been killed elsewhere and the body was dumped in the jungle. The 35-year-old scribe was recognised with his clothes.
