Dhenkanal: Two minor sisters drowned while bathing in a pond at Karamul village in Dhenkanal district on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Anita and Ankita Mallick. Both were 10 years old.
Fire Service personnel rushed to the village and brought out the two girls. However, one died on the spot and the other succumbed on the way to the district headquarters hospital.
