Konark: At least two tourists were injured after being stung by bees at the world famous Sun Temple at Konark on Sunday.
The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to sources, a swarm of bees entered the temple premises after their beehive was destroyed due to excess heat.
Following the incident, a large number of tourists and visitors fled outside the temple premises to save themselves from the attack.
In view of the incident, the temple authorities stopped the entry of visitors into the temple premises till the situation was brought under control.
