New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to apply for the UGC NET June 2020 exam to May 31.
Interested applicants can visit the official site and fill up the form till 11:50 pm before May 31.
Earlier, the last date to apply for the entrance test was April 16 which was then changed to May 16. And now the NTA authority pushed the deadline to May 31 amid the distressing circumstances due to coronavirus pandemic.
Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ also took to Twitter on Friday to confirm the announcement.

Meanwhile, the government is yet to announce the final dates for conducting the NET 2020 examination. However, it was earlier scheduled between June 15 and 20, according to the examination information bulletin.
The NTA managed UGC-NET exam is conducted to recruit ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor.’ It is a three-hour duration exam which consists of two papers.
