UGC NET Exam Postponed Due To COVID-19, NTA To Announce Fresh Dates Later

New Delhi: In view of the worsening COVID-19 situation, the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday postponed the UGC-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) for December 2020 cycle (May 2021) Examination scheduled to be held between May 2 and 17.
The NTA said that the UGC-NET in computer-based test mode covering 81 subjects has been put on hold for the safety and well-being of the candidates and examination functionaries.
The revised dates for the UGC-NET December 2020 cycle (May 2021) examination will be announced later and at least 15 days ahead of the exam.
Candidates have been advised to visit the official website of NTA, www.nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.ac.in for the latest updates. They can also contact 011-40759000 or send e-mail to ugcnet@nta.ac.in for further clarification, it added.
