London: UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was discharged from St Thomas’ Hospital on Sunday, ten days after testing positive for COVID-19.
He spent three nights in the ICU there.
The PM will not be immediately returning to work as advised by his doctors. He will be residing at his official country residence in Chequers, 40 miles north-west of London.
Nearly 10,000 people have died because of the virus in the UK, which has so far reported 80,000 positive cases.
