Balasore: An under-trial prisoner lodged in Nilagiri jail of Balasore district was found dead on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Pagulu Khandei, who was arrested in connection with an excise case. He hailed from Nuasahi in Nilagiri.
Police said the exact cause of death would be ascertained after an autopsy. Further investigations are on, they said.
