Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha for two days on March 22 and 23 to launch several projects in the state.
According to official sources, Shah is slated to arrive in Bhubaneswar on March 22, while details of his tour programme are being finalised.
During his visit, the Home Minister is slated to lay the foundation stone for several important government projects He is also scheduled to launch some new initiatives in the state.
Sources said Shah will lay the foundation stone of ten fire stations to be constructed in the state from 15th Finance Commission upgradation grant.
This apart, he is slated to flag off 25 Rapid Response vehicles to be located along major roads to improve response to road traffic accidents.
Besides official engagements, Shah is likely to meet leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and discuss issues relating to party affairs in the state.
