Bhubaneswar: Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal will deliver the first lecture of the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Lecture Series at the SOA Deemed to be University here on Monday.
Dr Pokhriyal will address SOA’s faculty members and students on the theme ‘A New Education Policy for a New India’ and also release a book titled ‘Samayara Chitralipi’. The book comprises selected stories authored by Dr Pokhriyal and translated into Odia by Dr Mahendra Prasad, a Director of SOA.
The Union Minister will also inaugurate a hostel for postgraduate students on the SOA campus. Besides, he will have a meeting with officials of IIT, NIT, KVS and NVS in the campus as well.
