Mumbai: Union Minister Ramdas Athawale tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Athawale got himself tested after complaining of cough and body pain. The result came out positive.

The development came a day after the minister was joined by Payal Ghosh among several others for a public induction of the actress to his party, Republican Party of India (Athawale), on Monday.
As per media reports, Athawale will be admitted to a hospital in Mumbai.
Also on Monday, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had tested positive for coronavirus. He is now undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
