UP CM Yogi Adityanath Receives Bomb Threat, Police File FIR
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh police on Monday filed a case against an unidentified individual in response to an alleged bomb threat directed at Chief Minister and BJP leader Yogi Adityanath, authorities informed news agency ANI.
The threat call was received on March 2 at 10 pm by Uttar Pradesh Police Head Constable Udham Singh, who was stationed at the security headquarters, according to police officials. Singh has also revealed the phone number from which the call was made.
“The caller told the chief constable that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth will be blown up by a bomb and disconnected the call,” police officials said.
An FIR has been lodged at the Mahanagar police station against the unidentified caller, and an investigation is currently in progress, the police further stated.
