Washington: Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is currently 6 votes short of the magic figure 270 required to win the election. President Donald Trump lost the swing states — Michigan and Wisconsin which he had won last time.
Trump is seeking a recount in Wisconsin and is planning a legal action challenging the results in Michigan and other states. Trump stands at 214.
However, there are thousands of mail-in ballots yet to be counted which could also favour Biden because the Democratic Party spent months promoting the message of submitting votes in advance. Trump, on the other hand, encouraged voters to turn out on the Election Day.
Meanwhile, Biden tweeted that his administration will re-enter the Paris Climate Change Agreement in exactly 77 days which Trump had walked out of.
Today, the Trump Administration officially left the Paris Climate Agreement. And in exactly 77 days, a Biden Administration will rejoin it. https://t.co/L8UJimS6v2
