Bhubaneswar: Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru; JNU, New Delhi, and BHU, Varanasi, are the top three varsities in the country.
According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2021 released on Thursday, three premier educational institutions of Odisha have also found a place in the top 100 under the university category.
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan has been ranked 20, followed by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) at 21. The ranking of state-run Utkal University is 87.
In 2020, these varieties were ranked 20, 24, 96 respectively.
Similarly, Delhi-based Miranda House and Lady Shri Ram College For Women, and Loyola College have been adjudged the best three colleges in India.
However, not a single college of Odisha have made it to the top 150 list.
The NIRF rankings are based on different parameters including teaching and learning resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcome, outreach and inclusivity and perception.
