Angul: A van carrying carrying 15 migrant workers from Palasa area of Andhra Pradesh rammed into a tree near Thakurgada of Angul district late on Wednesday.
According to sources, 10 among them sustained injuries and were admitted to the district headquarters hospital.
The accident took place when the vehicle skidded off the road and hit a roadside tree while the migrants were on their way to Keonjhar from Boudh.
The 15 migrant workers, hailing Purunakot area of Keonjhar district, were stranded in Palasa, Andhra Pradesh, due to lockdown and had somehow managed to reach Boudh from where they boarded the van for their native place, the sources added.
