Van Mahotsav Week: Vedanta Jharsuguda Kicks Off Celebrations With Drawing Competition

Jharsuguda: Vedanta Limited, Jharsuguda started the Van Mahotsav Week 2022 celebrations with a painting competition.

Themed ‘Conservation of our forests’, the competition was organized at Vedanta Meadows township.

Biju Patnaik Wildlife Award recipient Ashish Shukla, The Times of India journalist and member of Jharsuguda’s Bird Watchers Group Ritesh Sharma graced the occasion along with Ashwin Chand, Head PR & Communications, Vedanta Jharsuguda.

The participants were handed over saplings, and the winners were presented prizes.

The environmentalists spoke about the importance of trees in our lives and the need to nurture a green ecosystem.

The weeklong celebrations will include plantation drives in the community, plant premises and awareness sessions for employees, kids, family members and business partners.
