Jharsuguda: Vedanta Aluminium’s modern residential township Vedanta Meadows has been honoured with the MK Raut Pollution Control Appreciation Award – 2026 by the Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB) in the Industrial Township category.
The recognition highlights Vedanta’s integration of eco-friendly practices across operations and employee housing, including sustainable design, expansive green cover, and advanced environmental management systems.

Beyond operations, Vedanta has organised awareness drives in schools, launched the Matruban plantation project, and deployed technology to cut emissions.
