Berhampur: To avoid crowds at COVID-19 testing centres, the Ganjam administration has launched a van for tests in Berhampur and nearby areas.
This mobile facility will be made available in other parts of the district after some days so as to increase the number of tests, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange informed.
According to sources, the van is manned by medical staff and has all the equipment for testing. It will enable to provide testing services at the doorstep in villages.
On Thursday, Ganjam reported 245 new COVID cases. The number was 177 on Wednesday.
