Cuttack: Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini on Saturday filed a petition in the Supreme Court to shift the divorce suit filed by her husband and BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty in the Patiala House Court to Cuttack.
On the other hand, Anubhav has filed a caveat under Section 148A of Civil Procedure Code in the Patiala House Court with a request not to give any verdict on the petition filed by Varsha in the Supreme Court.
Earlier on September 7, Varsha’s counsel Rama Krushna Rath told the media that for the proper management of the case, his client would most likely move the Supreme Court with an appeal to shift the case filed by Anubhav in Patiala House Court to Cuttack. “The petition will be filed in the apex court after the Patiala House Court serves the legal notice,” he added.
